The Chengdu Architectural Design Institute (shortened as CDAD), established in 1959, is a prominent state-owned engineering design and consulting agency under the jurisdiction of Chengdu City. It was originally known as "Chengdu Design Institute" before officially renaming to its current title in June 1991.

Presently, the institute has structured its operations into three main sectors: Consulting, Engineering Design, and Engineering Turnkey Services.
